L.A STRUCON, founded by Olaniyan Lekan, is an independent organization specializing in civil and structural engineering, building and steel construction, and project management. Established with a commitment to engineering excellence, the firm is equipped with advanced hardware and software to deliver comprehensive services, including (pre-) feasibility studies, front-end engineering design (FEED), and detailed engineering support throughout the design phase. Our team of highly qualified engineers brings extensive expertise in structural engineering and building construction. Engr. Olalekan Olaniyan, MBA, EMPM, MNSE, R.Eng
Engr. Olalekan Olaniyan is a distinguished Civil/Structural Engineer based in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. With a career spanning over a decade, Olaniyan has established himself as a leader in the field of civil and structural engineering. He is recognized for his expertise in various engineering software including CSC-Orion, CSC-Tedds, Prokon, QuickCivilSeries, CivilSoft, CADS-RC, AutoCAD, and REVIT-Structures.
Olaniyan currently serves as the Principal Partner at L.A STRUCON, a role he has held since June 2013. At L.A STRUCON, he leads a team in delivering high-quality design, engineering, and project management services. His leadership ensures that every project, regardless of its size, is approached with a commitment to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Before founding L.A STRUCON, Olaniyan gained valuable experience as a Structural Engineer and Project Coordinator at Dauphin Concepts Limited from June 2011 to April 2013. His role involved structural design, supervision of structural work, and overseeing building construction. His earlier career included positions as a Site Engineer at Brass Engineering and Construction Limited, where he managed construction works and developed work breakdown structures, and as a Trainee Engineer at Costain West Africa Plc., where he handled project reporting, material records, and quality control.
Olaniyan’s educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ajayi Crowther University (2020 - 2021) and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State (2006 - 2010). He is also a certified Project Manager, a Registered Engineer, and a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE).
Olaniyan combines his technical skills with strong management and leadership capabilities. He is dedicated to advancing the field of civil engineering through innovative solutions and a deep understanding of the multidisciplinary nature of engineering projects. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evident in his diverse qualifications and extensive experience.

Emmanuel Olusegun Phillips
Partner, L.A STRUCON / Civil/Structural Engineer
Engr. Emmanuel Olusegun Phillips is a distinguished Civil/Structural Engineer with over 30 years of experience in structural design and supervision. As a Partner at L.A STRUCON, he is responsible for the final vetting of all engineering works executed by the firm. His extensive expertise includes overseeing numerous residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and road engineering projects. His vast experience and in-depth knowledge have been pivotal in maintaining the high standards of engineering excellence at L.A STRUCON.

Mr. Olusegun Ayoade is a seasoned Architect and Partner at L.A STRUCON. He plays a crucial role in the construction and supervision of various building and civil works. Ibrahim Dogo Shuaib
Senior Engineer / Civil/Structural Engineer
Engr. Ibrahim Dogo Shuaib is a highly experienced Civil/Structural Engineer specializing in the design and supervision of building and foundation works. As a Senior Engineer at L.A STRUCON, he focuses particularly on substation foundation works and transmission infrastructure. With a strong background in structural design and project supervision, Engr. Waheed Olaide Ganiyu
Project Engineer / Civil/Structural Engineer
Mr. Waheed Olaide Ganiyu is a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer and Project Engineer at L.A STRUCON.
